Hi ¨I», a nice article about life in Hobart. Who actually wrote the article?
I have been there too in 1984 for a week holiday and caught a bad cold! I also met this guy Carl Chang. He is used to call himself MoMing (anonymous). He comes to Darwin once every two years and earn a living in teh Night MArket and in the Mall by playing his erhu solo. We had particpated in the same mid-Autimn festival. Our group sang and he played his erhu solo with one of my friends who did the keyboard. He is a good looking guy in his 40s but it appears that he looks a bit older than his age obviously due to tough real life?
that is what I thought, ¨I» I believe you live in Sydney. DId you go to see Ngai wai ying's show??
yes, I thought that person was Carl CHang too. He travels around australia, and may be other countries also. Staying for few motnhs or so at a time. Searching for his own thing.
He obviously plays well. Has his own history in performing.
He must also has his own life story that we do not know about.
great show? i am not sure if great or not but there will be a show in April and another shortly after in Sydney. I saw the posters when I was there. I think both shows have guests coming over from Hong Kong. Of ocurse I cannot go again la.
What do you study?? I have a friend here who knows opera people in Brisbane. She visited there with Lee Mun Wah three years ago/
