I think my most favorite Chinese dessert is ToFuFa (with real ginger syrup), low fat, low calorie, yummy.... I'd tried the Black&White too, but I prefer the white alone. Last visit in Richmond, BC, we found a sweet shop specialized on "ToFuFa". We went there everyday, and sometimes twice a day... They serve Redbean Sand, G.MaWu etc, but you can't order them alone, they only come with ToFuFa, and also come with mango, payaya, peach, coffee, mocha, etc. etc. My 2nd favorite is "Ginger Crash Milk", best so far was eaten in DaiLeung, China. I know how to make it by using the microwave (recipe from a CO fan), but only can afford to enjoy it once a while, too fattening! These food talk amkes me hungry... Dinner time! Ding! Microware is calling... |

TPL: My parents live in Vancouver. Did you drive up there from SF? If you did, could you please give me the details? louis always wants to do the driving bewtee SF & Vancouver. 16 years ago we almost did this trip but got stuck in LA because of the quake!

Hi, Pinpin, The last time we drove up there was 1986 for the World Expo in Vancouver, after that we took the plane, because airfare is much cheaper, and our time is much less.. We usually get good package deals- roundtrip airfare from SF plus 3 nights hotel, about US$300 pp (off season of course). Frequently, we take trips up there for just watching opera performances from HK/China because they don't come by SF due to VISA issues. |

唔地隋,咁多嘢要答,唔唱得歌仔住呀!狀元及第?會唔會係紅豆沙加湯丸呢? 1010,糯米糍我未做過 o架,唔中意食嘛!不過據知係先將糯米粉用凍水開好拌匀,再攞去蒸熟,(用筷子挑起無白色嘅生粉), 成熟粉後就可以挑出嚟放在保鮮紙上,包入餡料即成。有一个好網址可以揾到好多食譜, 希望你中意。www.hkrecipes.com/recipes.html pinpin&思蓓,甜品+歺酒+燭光晚歺,咁真係似半醒加半醉,幾疑身在夢裹咯!唉吔!我怕黑o架! TPL,有冇試过双皮奶呢?大良雙皮奶好出名o架! 芝蔴糊加雪榚,我夏天會有時咁食法,搞吓新意思嘛!雪梨呢幾日真係熱到跳舞呀! |

I tried them all at DaiLeung, and fell in love with the Ginger milk. The Double Skin was good, but a little too heavy for me... Sharing here this website, you folks may find something good and easy... Enjoy!

思薇 是,是用食飯D碗 粉,水,份量是一比一,糖既份量可跟自己口味加減 蒸完之後,但太熱手拿不起來,涼些便可制作 一碗份量,約五六粒左右
